The Moon's Song

3/7/2019
when the clock strikes midnight
hear the moon sing
a seductive song to those
gazing up, marveling at the beauty
the friendship offered by the stars
speckling the night sky
each with the promise to shine
splendidly, unwavering in their
conviction to return each night
blessing & befriending all those
who gaze up at the moon
listening to her seductive song
