The Boy Burned Blue

by ·

2/1/2019
the moon takes flight
the stars ignite
a night which never sleeps

listen to
the boy burned blue
he lon-ely woos and weeps

midnight sings
of Saturn's rings
of once great kings and creeps

before the sun
in harmony: one
over the moon he leaps

drawing to close
no one knows
what the nighttime reaps

the boy burned blue
and all the kings, too
in the midnight glow they steep
