Sadistic Ocean Waves

clouds gather overhead
it was a perfectly sunny day
then you entered
bringing with you all that is sour
and none of what is sweet
shadows of neglect are all that I see
toxic rain, laced with negativity
pours upon me
with all my will washed away
i stand soaked in your dejection
no sunlight or spare clothes do you offer
no reprieve, just more unrelenting storms
which won't cease until i drown
beneath the surface of your sadistic ocean waves
