Well, here we go, another trip
Far, far away
Where we go, it matters not
Travel night and day
Been on so many, they're all the same
It's all a familiar blur
When business calls, I go running
But I dream of my return
If I could close my eyes and be with you
I wouldn't hesitate
Instead, I'm stuck, way out here
Lost in another state
Don't worry, my dear, I'll be home soon
Please keep warm the bed
While alone tonight, I'll dream of you
No matter where I rest my head
So when you reach for me and feel the sheets
Vacant, ice cold
Think of my touch, the warmth of my arms
Wherein I tenderly hold
I'll soon wrap you tight
Hold you all through the night
The second I return home
