I love the days
When clouds cry
The quiet sky
Thunders nigh
A subtle sigh
Gets me high
They all say
Hope’s run dry
But not this time
You by my side
Day and night
Watch the light
Flicker in flight
Cloud to cloud
Breathe in the sight
As night draws near
I shed my fears
Just be here
You whisper in my ear
All of a sudden
The fog disappears
I see the world
It's all so clear
The clouds above
Shed a tear
Touch the ground
A harmonious sound
Each drop
Renders profound
All around
Start abound
Perforating
Every cloud
The time is now
Be in the moment
Or it'll pass you by
Look up toward
The most beautiful sky
Drink the rain
Close your eyes
Feel the wonder
Don't be shy
Revel in
All there is
Around
Above
Below
Within
Impossible
To quite describe
And I must admit
This is why
I love the days
