A few nimble drops
navigate to the bottom
of the tiered waterfall
only to be sucked up
by the dehydrated soil
at the bottom of the basin
drops trickle slowly
no deluge to deliver
the needed moisture
to satiate the dirt
to fill the basin
with your elusive love
Nimble Drops
