i was told that i must conform
follow the rush, exist in the norm
just because of how i was born
on the bottom with you at the top
something about it just isn't right
that i should be shunned, kept from sight
when you walk free to soak up the light
a truth school hasn't taught
while a simple difference i try to make
you take hold ready to break
laws, my bones, whatever it takes
to keep me in my spot
