Indecision Takes the Wheel

by ·

2/14/2016
When indecision takes the wheel out on the open road,
I quietly lie, idly by, slave to the dubious drive.

We drive all night, drive all day, hear the radio play.
No voice to sound, no map is found,
objections and directions
fall along the vapid, lifeless ground.

To everywhere and nowhere we travel in haste.
Faster with every line
that passes by,
to assuredly remind of the frailty of time.
