I forgive myself
for each past sin:
For every transgression,
for my demons within.
I will learn to accept
me for who I am:
For where I've been,
for my failures to stand.
I will allow my emotions
to finally flow through.
Unbroken by rocks,
my fears subdued.
The day will come
when I will stand tall;
Knowing full-well
I will continue to fall.
But each time I fall,
I vow to rise again.
And until that day comes,
forgiveness I shall extend.
