Flowers die and flowers bloom
rising and falling with the seasons
even long after a winter's freeze
they sprout strong for a reason
Flowers show us what we can do
steady and ready they grow
even under the harshest conditions
peaking out through the snow
When flowers flourish in the moist spring air
bathing, drinking their fill
proudly they reach for the summer sun
while effortlessly standing still
As summer passes and autumn greets
flowers know their fate
never crying while they're dying
pick them before it's too late
