Fiddling Fingers Intertwine

4/18/2024
Fiddling fingers intertwine
and unravel—
tap and dance
as if no one is watching
while my mind attempts
to construct logical
and legible phrases
that appeal to me
and hopefully others—
that make me crack
a side-smile in amusement.
Nothing too deep in this one,
just a little levity on
a dreary Thursday afternoon.
