So I confidently drive down the empty highway,
speeding to somewhere—not knowing how much gas is in the tank,
not knowing when I'll see the next light of civilization,
only praying I'll get there before I fall asleep at the wheel.
Crashing in the desolate nowhere of my existence
only means that nobody will find me.
Nobody knows I'm missing.
Maybe they will never look.
But even if they do, I'll be blown away
like the dust of my own ineptitude.
