Looking out on the busy sidewalk
faces passing by, reminding me
of the world out there, spinning
on it's tilted axis, held together
by the pull of that which lay within
every footstep is a testament
to the beautiful randomness which
created this place, these faces
each footstep pushes the earth around
it's orbit, withing each & every one of us
the world may simply stop
