pondering
wondering
why tension
so tight
fills my stomach
an overfilled balloon
full of shrapnel
ready to burst
no safety valve
to release pressure
I sit here
pondering
wondering
how to cut
the angst
while leaving
the excitement
behind
but my body
doesn't know
the difference
and all I know
is I will blow
and when I do
