I can't sleep
thoughts creep
through my mind
chaos keeps
me awake
no break
no rest
for the weak
my open eyes
despise
and recognize
all your hollow tries
"I'll sleep tomorrow"
is just another lie
you tell yourself
to survive
I can't go on like this
another miss
in the abyss
without sleep's kiss
I reminisce
of long ago
when sleep was no foe
and I know
I can get there again
be patient my friend
you'll get what you need
in the end
