What is a landscape but a collection of sights
Each with their own beauty and
Each with their own secrets?
If we listen closely enough, they will share
Their secrets when the time is right.
If we watch closely enough, they will bestow
Their beauty upon us. Our patience made us
Deserving enough to lay witness to the truth
The landscape has to offer. But if we are hasty
In our judgments and fleeting with our time,
We will miss the truth and fall short
Of that which is possible. Yes, we must wait
Patiently for the dust to settle and the
Echoes to Fade to observe the landscape
As it truly is.
