You gaze into my eyes, so honest, true
Without a word, you call my name
In an instant our lives, once me and one you
Our worlds, now one in the same
Each day our souls become more intertwined
The passion continues to blaze
Heavenly bliss—nothing short of divine
Thanking god for each blessed day
With one little trip, you stumble, sway
Our bond is tested in time
A momentous mistake, hoping you'll stay
Praying your hand falls in mine
Your boat feel lost as the seas get rough
No lighthouse for miles around
You steer towards the center, to call the storm's bluff
Distraught, your Hell now surrounds
Off in the distance, the faintest light
Standing triumphantly
Giving direction in the darkest night
