Where are you
when I call your name?
You're nowhere to be found.
I look for you
in a maze of wonder;
your face eludes me
as I wind my way
through this foggy labyrinth.
Every dead end is
another tortured reminder
of my endless shortcomings.
I've spent a lifetime wandering,
looking for you—
longing for you—
bleeding for you.
My life will end
the same way it began,
with a foolish step
leading nowhere.
Where Are You?
