What is death but giving life?
When we live, we consume life—
we eat life's food,
we drink life's water,
we breathe life's air;
yet when we die, we give that life back—
back to the world.
With our final exhale,
we release every breathe
we devoured while alive:
we release everything
back to the world
so that others
may live.
