What is a writer to do when his mind draws a blank? He has nothing to write about, nothing to do, except to write about nothing. Surely something must be going through his mind, yet all he can see is empty space, where something fantastic should reside. But no, nobody's home. He could savor this moment of peace, the lack of motion, but rather he chooses to dwell on the emptiness as a devastating void, with a wistful eye toward entropy, the energy of the imagination. With pen in hand, ready to write, to release the energy, ready for entropy, ready for anything! Nothing, nothing but vacancy spills onto the page. I guess when a writer has nothing to write about, he write about nothing at all.
