A lighthouse perched upon the shoreline,
warding off danger in the night.
Her beauty—nothing short of sublime;
A fire—eternal—shone bright.
Once I've left your safety,
and you've all but vanished from sight.
Now alone on the open waters,
my deepest fears take flight.
But on the stormy seas,
I shut my eyes and pray.
Then off in the distance,
you pierce through the gray.
Guide me to refuge
in the calm of your bay.
Through the thickest fog,
my darkest hours,
you always show me the way.
I am graced forever, by your undying light.
