The words I write
say something.
Something about
who I am in
the moment
they are written.
Whether profound
or inconsequential, they
carry with them
a story.
A story not
to be rewritten,
but to be retold,
to be relived
when read aloud
with an open heart
and an open mind.
Yes, these are the words
