The Moon Can't Hide

by ·

11/3/2018
The moon can't hide
for the changing tides
as watery tribes
swim to survive
hoping to arrive
before the pale sunrise
where the salty bride
whose tears she cried
filled the oceans high
and whose silver sigh
shakes the sky
as she stands by
her beloved's side
as his grip slips
she kisses his lips
he sinks and sips
fades and dies
