Someway, Somehow

by ·

2/4/2020
I'm scared of the day
I go on my own way
away from the safety
of your gentle bay

But I know I must go
out own my own
to prove how much
I have grown

Yet I'm still scared
I'll-prepared
to be in the wild
without you there

Just one step I take
maybe it's a mistake
or maybe, just maybe
this is my fate

If uncertainty could kill
I'd be caught still
burning alive
in this living hell

But I must step out
silence all doubt
refuse to surrender
I am proud

While I'm scared of what's next
I know I'm blessed
when I get where I'm going
I'll take a rest

I don't know how
but I'm certain it's now
I will make it
someway, somehow
