The world doesn't wait
so why do you?
The world spins endlessly
unwaveringly
in movement of chaos, entropy, change, disaster
she keeps spinning, moving, evolving, adapting
for 4.5 billion years this has happened
still here, not without her scars
but still here
each and every event, every blemish
has led her to create the perfect conditions
for life to emerge
and when those conditions change
life will rise anew
but for here and for now
she is perfect for you, for me
right now, in this moment, as you are
you are perfect for you, for me
and you will change, as will I
but the only way to survive is not to wait
and pray
that everything around us goes unchanged

it is to move, change, evolve, adapt
