Our Occassional Rendezvous

by ·

I see you
In every light
Throughout the day
Deep into the night
From every angle
I hold you tight

I study your curves
Your skin, your scars
Map memories
That could only be ours

You speak your mind
I learned your style
and every secret
That makes you smile

In quiet corners
Of my brain
I find you
Time and again

You have claimed
A sacred space
The though of you
Is all I chase

What began as
A casual event
A rendezvous full
Of innocent intent

Ended with
A passing touch
A downward glance
To hide your blush

Let’s not be coy
Let’s not pretend
This is how
Our story ends

We’ll meet again
And then we’ll see
If we are really
Meant to be
