Offer Them a Lift

11/19/2018
As I stare out the window
at the cards passing by
I can't help but wonder
about each of their lives
where they're going
where they've been
the places they've traveled
the things they've seen
the people they carry
have their lives, too
far beyond the experience
of me and of you
each soul is precious
each vehicle a gift
if you see someone walking
offer them a lift
