Needle's Eye

by ·

9/22/2016
Carefully threading your needle's eye
     the final stitches you sew.
After years of toiling—but no one knew why
     your masterpiece will finally show.

The threads come together as one
     with the final stitches tied tight.
One last thread has been un-spun,
     endless were the nights.

Your work, understood by so very few
     questioned at every turn;
What it takes to create the perfect you
     they don't have the patience to learn.

When your final knot is made
     the world will finally know.
With your masterpiece on display,
     Your truth will finally show.
