Where are you, my muse?
Why do you elude me so?
I want nothing more
than to hold your hand:
your sweet, soft, delicate hand.
Why do you abandon me
in my darkest hour?
All I ask for is one single touch,
for one spark in the night.
But you deprive me of that
and of so much more.
You leave me here in the dark:
naked and alone.
Where are you, my muse?
Why do you ignore me
in my time of need?
What will it take for you
to return to me?
If it's begging—I'll beg.
If sacrifice—name your price.
If it's loss—I'm already lost without.
What is it that you want?
Tell me!
Where are you, my muse?
My Muse is Missing
