In Masochism I Bathe

by ·

12/6/2016
An empty attempt,
Full of contempt.

Burdened with shame;
Only myself to blame.

In this cozy chair, I rock,
Glaring at the clock.

Progress eludes,
I refuse to move.

No, I won't change;
In masochism I bathe.

As I selfishly dwell
in my man-made Hell.
