but I'm afraid to ask
afraid that my hand will find emptiness
afraid that my plea will go unanswered
afraid that this will be just another failure to add to the list
I'm falling and I'm afraid there is no one there to catch me
maybe the reason I don't ask for help
is that I've done nothing to deserve it
