I Live

by ·

1/30/2016
I live for that moment of hope,
as the sun peaks over the crest
on a cool Spring's morn.

That moment which takes my breath away
like a cool breeze on a warm Summer's day.

The afternoon majesty
of Autumn's brilliant colors—
painting a portrait of God, himself.

The moment of nature's final breath,
as the sun dips below the evening horizon—
to take its Winter's slumber.

For those moments—I live.
