Hang your hope on the hook
next to your dirty, damp towel.
Leave it there to fester and rot;
It has no useful purposes in your life.
It's better off burned, reduced to ashes.
Why hold onto something
that will just grow mold?
What will you do with it, anyway?
Dry it out and hope that it becomes useful again?
Forget it. The only thing it's good for now
is to wipe up the mess
you are bound to make out of your life.
