Dismal May

by ·

5/23/2017
Rainy, dreary, dismal May;
Peering up, the sky so gray.
The sunlight shines, but all too thin:
Drowning my soul in heavy burden.

Stronger, faster, rain falls down,
Knifing daggers into the ground
     In the line of fire,
     Drenched in bloody ire,
     I desperately desire
that one day I am found.
