Cornered by the very thoughts that led me to this place
The things I’ve seen, the screams I’ve heard, can never be erased
Why lead me here? Why leave me now? alone in empty space
No escape, the maddening touch, I feel the warm embrace
A hand reaches in, the softest touch, cups my virgin face
I gaze into your hollow eyes, my heart begins to race
Daggers dealt, hollow no more, tossed at a frightening pace
Why won't you leave me, damning thoughts?! I surrender to my fate
