Comfort of Home

by ·

7/19/2018

How do I find my way back home when I've been gone for so many years? Everything looks different now. My mind knows not where I go, yet my feet know the way.

Navigating streets and avenues, you take me to a familiar sight. Standing on the sidewalk, I see our old blue door, flanked on either side by once-lively trees, now bare of leaves in the cool autumn day.

I know now where I am: you have brought me here. For I know not how I got here but am thankful you returned me to the comfort of home.
