Chronicles of the Night

5/27/2018
when the sunrise lifts
& the moonlight falls
stars winking a sleepy goodbye
still there, still shining
for others to see
they disappear in the luminous daytime sky
but as the sunshine drifts
and the moon takes flight
stars twinkle upon a canvas of black
each telling a story
the hunter & the bull
stories interwoven
into the chronicles of the night
