Busy as a bee
in the hive of his queen
making comb after comb
of delectable honey
he makes and he makes
but he rarely takes
his fair share of money
his buddies tell jokes
he used to love
but no longer
finds them funny
from flower to lower
obliged, he flies
on this day
so bright and sunny
forcing a smile
he carries out
his duties
ever-sullenly
