Breathe in the Cool

by ·

10/26/2016
I breathe in the cool, calming warmth you radiate.
I expel the burning insecurities plaguing my mind—
Renewing my soul with your gift of purity,
Ridding my body of all that burdens my most inner peace.

I allow the negative energy
to pass through
my rumbling lips,
shedding the discomfort
which has nestled into my every thought.

Leave me—wretched nightmares!
For I welcome love and warmth
to replace your horrid, putrid ways.
Bless those who have gifted their light—
When darkness all but claimed victory.
