been on this road for a thousand miles
bloody feet carry my weary body
it'll be a thousand more before i arrive
(if i survive that long)
this road is hot, desolate
vultures circle overhead
waiting for me to drop
to tear apart my starved carcass
but i keep moving, trudging forward
leaving one bloody footprint after the other
i don't know where this road leads
but i'm damn sure it's better
than where i started
Bloody Feet
