Bleeding Gray

by ·

8/3/2016
My cloudy eyes
Flood the skies

Bleeding gray
Into the once clear day

Blinded by black
The strength I lack

Until weakness sets in
Under s mountain of sin

Rumbling through tunnels—
    darkness sustained
Riding along
    on this empty train

Now gone from sight
As I enter the night

On the tracks unknown
I kneel at your throne

Quietly lain
Embracing insane

Hoping for madness
Over this sadness

I tender my surrender
Take me whenever

Because I can no longer fight
This cold, hollow night
Anymore: I'm yours
Grim darkness—
Now, and forever more
