Azure Waves

by ·

8/21/2017
The waves, azure, come rolling in
Each grain of sand; wash away my sin
The undertow pulls me out
To where it all began.

Caps of white come crashing down
Hammering the grainy ground
The roar of repentance, erasing all doubt
Foams/booms a forgiving/beauteous sound

The sun in the sky watches overhead
Casting shadows o'er all my dread
Smiling down as my soul's cleaned out
(Leaving) purity in transgression's stead
